Why bother

The character editor has no numbers anywhere in it. Telling somebody "mane thirty-eight of seventy-three" only tells them to go and count, so a sheet shows the option itself instead. Colours come with their hex codes, because that is the part people retype.

Installing it

1. Unzip it somewhere you will not delete by accident — Chrome loads it from that folder every time, so it has to stay put.
2. Open chrome://extensions and switch on Developer mode.
3. Click Load unpacked and pick the folder you unzipped.

It is not on the Chrome Web Store yet, so this is the manual route for now.

Using it

1. Open your character in the Pony Town editor.
2. Click the Ponyfolio icon in your toolbar. The tabs will flick past as it reads them.
3. One PNG per part — body, mane, tail, face, items, extra — lands in your downloads. Drop them all at once into the design sheets box when you post a design; they are named by part, so they arrive labelled and in order.

Prefer a single image? Untick One image per part in the extension before you press the button. A pony with a lot of layers will be cramped that way, which is why it is not the default.

What it does and doesn't do

• It only runs when you click the button — nothing watches your browsing.
• It reads the page you already have open and never sends anything anywhere.
• The sheet is built on your machine and saved to your downloads. Ponyfolio never sees it unless you upload it.
• It reads your character. It cannot change it, and it never touches the game world.
